Split dose calculator for weekly GLP-1 dosing

Break a weekly total into two injections or an every-X-days pattern.

If provided, the calculator shows the next eight injection dates.

What this tool helps you do

This tool helps split a weekly total dose across two injections or an every-X-days cadence.

It keeps the weekly total consistent while showing the per-injection amount and a simplified fluctuation estimate.

How it works

Method

Scale dose by the interval covered

For every-X-days, the tool multiplies the weekly total by X/7.

For twice-weekly patterns, it splits the week by the number of days between the two chosen injection days.

Method

Show a practical schedule summary

Alongside per-injection mg, the tool shows total monthly drug use, next calendar examples, and a simplified half-life-based fluctuation factor.

This is not a full pharmacokinetic simulation and should be treated as educational guidance only.

Formula or method

Every X days: Dose per injection = Weekly dose × (X ÷ 7)

Twice weekly: Dose 1 = Weekly dose × (d1 ÷ 7), Dose 2 = Weekly dose × (d2 ÷ 7)

Monthly total = Weekly dose × 4

Example

A 10 mg weekly total every 3 days becomes about 4.29 mg per injection.

A 10 mg weekly total on Monday and Thursday becomes 4.29 mg and 5.71 mg.

Assumptions and limitations

Split dosing can be off-label. Use it only for education unless your clinician has specifically advised it.

The half-life helper is simplified and not drug-specific individualized PK modeling.

FAQ

No. It preserves the same weekly total and only redistributes how that total is delivered across the week.

Because Monday-to-Thursday covers three days and Thursday-to-next-Monday covers four days, so the weekly total is split proportionally.

No. It is an educational schedule calculator, not personal medical guidance.
