1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Glone, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

By downloading, installing, or using Glone (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Glone.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and handle your data.

2. Description of Service

Glone is a personal wellness tracker for people on GLP-1 medications. All core features are free with no limits. A subscription supports the developer and unlocks unlimited AI food photo analysis.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Glone is a personal tracker and companion tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never change your medication based on information from this App without consulting your doctor.

What Glone is

Glone is a personal companion and tracking tool designed for people who have already been prescribed GLP-1 or other weight management medications by their healthcare provider. It helps you:

What Glone is NOT

What we never do

If any content in the App could be interpreted as medical guidance, it is provided solely for informational purposes and should always be verified with your healthcare provider.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for all health and medical decisions you make. Always consult your prescribing physician or healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication, dosage, schedule, diet, or treatment plan.

AI nutritional estimates

AI-generated nutritional information is approximate and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for specific dietary or medical needs. These estimates should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements, allergy management, or any condition requiring precise nutritional tracking.

Emergencies

In case of a medical emergency, call 911 (US), 112 (EU), or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on the App in an emergency situation.

4. Assumption of Risk

You use Glone at your own risk. The App provides informational tools, but all health decisions are yours.

Any health-related decisions you make — including changes in diet, exercise, medication timing, or lifestyle — are made entirely at your own discretion and risk.

You sign in with Apple. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from the App settings.

Registration: To use certain features of the App, you must sign in using Apple Sign In. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to secure your device or credentials.

Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings > Delete Account). Account deletion permanently removes all your data from the device, including Keychain entries, health records, food logs, and preferences. This action cannot be undone.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. The annual plan ($39.99/year) includes a 3-day free trial. You can cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings.

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing tiers. Prices are subject to change with advance notice.

Billing

All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. For the Annual Plan, your free trial begins at subscription and converts to a paid subscription after 3 days unless cancelled.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The renewal price is the same as the original subscription price, unless we notify you of a price change.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until your current period expires.

Free Trial

The 3-day free trial is available with the Annual Plan for new subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Annual subscription. You will not be charged during the trial period if you cancel before it expires.

Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

Subscription Management

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat processes your Apple User ID and transaction data to verify your subscription. All payment processing remains with Apple — RevenueCat does not process payments directly.

7. User Content

Your data is yours. We only process it to make the App work for you.

Ownership: You retain ownership of all data and content you create within the App, including food logs, health entries, weight records, and any photos you take.

License to Us: By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the App's functionality (for example, sending food photos to OpenAI for analysis when you request it). We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose without your explicit permission.

Food Photos: Photos submitted for AI food analysis are processed in transit and are not stored by Glone or OpenAI after analysis is complete. You should avoid photographing people, personal documents, or sensitive information when using the food analysis feature.

8. AI Food Analysis

Snap a photo of your food and AI estimates the calories and nutrients. The photo is processed and immediately discarded.

AI nutritional estimates are approximate and provided for general informational purposes only. Do not rely on them for medical dietary requirements, allergy management, or any condition requiring precise nutritional data.

Technology: Glone uses OpenAI's GPT-4o model to analyze food photos and estimate nutritional content. The analysis is performed on our server — the App does not communicate with OpenAI directly.

What is Sent: When you use this feature, a compressed version of your food photo is sent to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI along with a structured analysis prompt. No personal information (name, email, health data) is included.

Consent: By using the AI food analysis feature, you consent to your food photo being transmitted to OpenAI for processing. You can choose not to use this feature and enter nutritional data manually instead.

Accuracy: AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximate. They should be used as a general guide, not as precise measurements. You can edit all AI-generated values manually within the App.

Responsible Use: Use this feature only to photograph food and beverages. Do not photograph people, personal documents, or sensitive content. Do not attempt to use this feature for purposes other than food analysis.

9. HealthKit Integration

Glone reads and writes health data from Apple Health with your permission. You are in full control and can revoke access at any time.

Health data displayed in Glone from HealthKit is for personal tracking and informational purposes only. It does not constitute a medical measurement or assessment.

Data Types: With your permission, Glone reads health metrics (weight, activity, heart rate, and more) from HealthKit, and writes body weight, BMI, dietary data, and symptom categories to HealthKit.

Your Control: HealthKit integration is optional and requires your explicit authorization. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Glone. Revoking access does not delete data already recorded within Glone.

10. Analytics

We collect data about which App features are used so we can fix bugs and improve the product. We never see your health data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, Section 10.

We collect usage analytics to understand how the App is used, identify bugs, and improve the product. Analytics include information such as which features are accessed, error reports, and session data.

Analytics never include your health data (weight, meals, injections, symptoms), personal information (name, email), or food photos.

11. Acceptable Use

Use Glone as intended — as a personal health tracker. Do not try to abuse, hack, or redistribute it.

Glone and its content belong to us. You get a personal license to use the App.

Our Rights: The App, including its design, code, features, content, graphics, and the Glone brand, is owned by Glone App and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your License: We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Apple devices in accordance with these Terms.

Explore Content: Educational and informational content in the Explore section of the App is proprietary to Glone App. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

13. Third-Party Services

Glone relies on Apple, OpenAI, RevenueCat, USDA, and Supabase. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their uptime or policies.

The App relies on third-party services including OpenAI, USDA FoodData Central, Apple HealthKit, RevenueCat, and Supabase. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, reliability, or performance.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

Your use of the App is subject to the terms and policies of these third-party services in addition to these Terms.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

We work hard to make Glone reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be perfect or work in every situation.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

EU consumer rights: If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

15. Limitation of Liability

If something goes wrong, our maximum liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.

We are not liable for any health outcomes or medical decisions made using information from the App. Glone is an informational tool, not a medical device. Consult your healthcare provider for all medical decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (through Apple) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or cost of procurement of substitute services.

We are specifically not liable for:

Exceptions (required by EU law): Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; gross negligence or willful misconduct; death or personal injury caused by our negligence; any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

If your misuse of the App causes us legal trouble, you agree to cover those costs.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glone App, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

This indemnification obligation does not apply to EU consumers to the extent it would be considered an unfair contract term under Directive 93/13/EEC.

17. Class Action Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Glone App.

This waiver does not apply to consumers in the European Union or in jurisdictions where class action waivers are prohibited by law.

18. Termination

You can stop using Glone at any time. Cancel your subscription, delete your account, and remove the App.

By You: You may stop using the App at any time. To fully terminate your relationship with Glone, cancel your subscription (see Section 6), delete your account within the App (Settings > Delete Account), and delete the App from your device.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially violate these Terms. Where possible, we will provide notice before termination.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 4, 7, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 19) will survive.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Polish law. We do not require mandatory arbitration — you keep your right to go to court.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, Poland.

EU Consumer Protection: If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast). Nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

No Mandatory Arbitration: We do not require mandatory arbitration. You retain your right to bring claims in court.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

21. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glone App regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Glone App to be effective.

Assignment: We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without your consent. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, pandemics, or third-party service outages.

Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
