Enter the concentration printed on the vial or compounding label.
The calculator returns both U-100 syringe units and equivalent volume in mL.
What this tool helps you do
This calculator uses the same U-100 math model as the tirzepatide forward calculator, but is labeled for retatrutide.
It supports concentration entered as mg/mL or mg/0.5 mL and returns units plus volume in mL.
How it works
Method
Normalize the concentration
Any mg/0.5 mL entry is converted into mg/mL first so the dose math stays consistent.
The result is then mapped onto a U-100 syringe scale.
Method
Convert target mg into units
Dose is divided by concentration and multiplied by 100 units per mL.
The output is rounded to one decimal place for syringe readability.
Formula or method
Units = (Dose mg ÷ Concentration mg/mL) × 100
Volume mL = Units ÷ 100
Example
5 mg at 10 mg/mL equals 50.0 units.
2.5 mg at 7.5 mg/0.5 mL first becomes 15 mg/mL, then equals 16.7 units.
Assumptions and limitations
Retatrutide remains investigational and is not an FDA-approved routine outpatient medication.
This calculator only handles unit conversion, not safety or appropriateness.
FAQ
No. It only provides unit conversion math for an investigational compound.
No. The unit-conversion math is the same U-100 formula family.
Yes. The calculator normalizes it to mg/mL before calculating units.

Important notes
This tool is educational and does not replace prescribing instructions or clinician advice.
Always confirm concentration, units, syringe type, and product labeling before injecting.
Investigational compounds require extra caution and are outside routine FDA-approved labeling.
